Valentine Boudoir Session | Eastern PA Boudoir Photography

So you're looking for some Valentine boudoir ideas? Want to get the perfect Valentine gift for your sweetheart AND treat yourself to a relaxing day of pampering at the same time?! A valentine boudoir session is the best of both worlds! You deserve a day to let go of all of your responsibilities, put down all of those hats you wear, and indulge in a day that is all about YOU! A boudoir session can help you do all of that, plus boost your confidence, and leave you with a gorgeous keepsake album or wall art that you can gift to your honey for the special occasion.

Coquette Boudoir has all the best ideas on how to prepare for an AMAZING Valentine Boudoir Session!

  1. Go shopping!

Here is a recent client in her gorgeous red SavageXFenty (Lace'd Up Teddy) bodysuit.

Some of my favorite pieces for Valentine's lingerie are red, pink, or heart-patterned! There are plenty of places to shop for your valentine's lingerie, like local lingerie boutiques (our local shop is LiliBea's in West Reading), your local shopping mall's Victoria's Secret, Aerie, or Torrid, or e-commerce shops like Playful Promises, Love Vera, or Tutti Rouge. In addition, Coquette Boudoir offers our clients exclusive access to a Client Wardrobe full of unique lingerie pieces you can wear for your session!

2. Plan Ahead!

As soon as you think you'd like to do a boudoir session for Valentine's Day, inquire with your photographer and get your session on their books! Dates before holiday deadlines tend to book out sooner than later, so you will want to book well in advance. Coquette Boudoir also offers flexible, custom payment plans on all of our products, so booking ahead will allow you to have the most options when deciding how you'd like to invest in your gorgeous final products for gifting.

3. Chat ideas with your photographer!

Will they be doing themed sessions at that time of year or can you bring your own props and accessories? They will let you know what they provide vs. what you will be responsible for bringing on the day of your session. This will be different for every photographer, but make sure to communicate with them your vision for the session and why you're booking so that you can be on the same page about the session aesthetic and what each of you are bringing to the session!

4. Hair & Makeup

Make a Pinterest Board and save images of Hair & Makeup ideas that you might want to use for your session! This will make the day go by so much smoother with your hair & makeup artist(s) and they will thank you for being prepared! Plus, you'll know exactly what look you're going for on the day-of, so that when session day rolls around you aren't frazzled and have to admit you have NO idea what you want!

5. Have FUN!

Even though the outcome of this experience might be a Valentine gift for your partner, your boudoir day is all about YOU! Take extra care of yourself in the weeks leading up to your session so that you can truly let go on your session day, let us take care of you for the day, and have some fun! Ask your photographer to play your favorite music and shake your booty, take some selfies in your amazing makeup, flirt with yourself, and let loose and enjoy your day the best you can. You deserve this, babe!!!
